Dr. Anna Trove

Dr. Anna Trove is a west Michigan native. Shortly after graduating from Grand Haven High School in 2011, she moved to California. While out west Anna was involved with wildlife rehabilitation, animal rescue and fostering. She had grown up loving to care for animals and the outdoors, but this is where her passion further developed. In 2015 she graduated with an associate degree in veterinary technology from San Joaquin Valley College. Anna then worked as a licensed technician in a general practice, emergency clinic, and high volume spay neuter facility, while also furthering her wildlife experience with local rehabilitators.

In 2020 she started school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of St. Kitts. She enjoyed the island life and was vice president of the Feral Cat Project, where she oversaw/coordinated spaying & neutering of island cats. She graduated with her DVM from Ross in January 2024 after completing her clinical year at Louisiana State University.

At home Anna spends time with her rescue dog, Pig. They enjoy hiking, rock collecting, running & traveling.

Anna is passionate about wildlife conservation/rehabilitation as well as her work here at Clarke Animal hospital. She’s happy to be back home in the Mitten State, to fully embrace her career and grow connections within the community.
